Hedda Gabler opened in May 2011 at Sæterhytten in Oslo and had more than 40 performances the first season, in 2012 Hedda was part of the International Ibsen Festival in Oslo as also in 2014 and 2016. Hedda Gabler has been presented at The Theatre Festival Retroperspektywy in Lodz in Poland 2014, at the Fadjr Festival in Teheran in Iran in January 2016, The Almada International Theater Festival in Lisbon in July 2016 where the performance won the prize of honour, at The Natouri International Ibsen Festival «Ibsen Now» in Tokyo in December 2016. In 2017 Hedda Gabler was back at Casa da Cerca in Lisbon with 6 performances and to receive the Festival’s Prize, and Juni Dahr lead a series of workshops as festival artist under the heading «The sense of the masters». Hedda Gabler was presented at Porsgrunn International Theatrefestival in June 2018 with 5 sold out performances. Hedda Gabler will in 2018 also be part of the International Ibsen Festival in Oslo again.
